Brew at the Zoo


The Essex County Turtle Back Zoo and the Zoological Society of New Jersey will celebrate the 10th Annual Brew at the Zoo on June 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a VIP reception from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Enjoy 50+ craft beers and live entertainment, fun non-alcoholic beverages, food vendors, and extended animal viewing hours.

Only guests aged 21 and over will be permitted.

All guests must have a valid ID and possess a valid ticket.

This ticket grants entry to "Brew at the Zoo" from 6pm – 9pm. Sample over 50 local craft breweries and enjoy live music and entertainment.  Please drink responsibly.

Designated Driver

Designated Driver ticket allows admission to "Brew at the Zoo" from 6pm – 9pm.  Designated Driver will have access to popular food trucks, non-alcoholic beverages, local vendor and live entertainment. Please note - Designated Drivers will not be permitted to sample any beer.

A limited number of "Brew at the Zoo" VIP tickets are available. These tickets grant you access to a one-hour private session to preview local premium craft beers and complimentary hors d'oeuvres held in the Savanna Cafe from 5 PM - 6 PM. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive up-close animal encounters to meet the Zoo's esteemed animal ambassadors. The VIP ticket also includes access to "Brew at the Zoo" General Admission session from 6 PM - 9 PM.
